Keep a few things in mind though:
-All the data are averages from 3-6 years.
-Weather patterns seem to be strange the last few years around the world, for example, last year we had 1 day of rain between June and mid December.
There's a few constant's though:

The temperature of air and water are year round excellent.
- There's pretty much always something fun and active to do, no wind > go surfing. No waves ( average around 10 days per year
) > go mountain biking, horse riding , kitesurfing, sightseeing etc.
To sum up the surf season:
We have between 330-550 surf days ( between waist high and double overhead waves).
Biggest and most consistent waves ( between head and double overhead) are between Sept and April.
For learning to surf , anytime of the year is excellent here in Cabarete.

Kite & windsurfing season
Year round we have windy days, most consistent months are between May and August .
When the trade wind kick in the average strenght is between 14 and 22 knots side / onshore.
