In our years of surfing travels, we've seen plenty of poor surf camps with crappy locations, rooms and beds, complete with inedible food, so we built Swell as the antidote. ‘Surf Camp’ no longer needs to imply ‘second-rate' hotel accommodation.

If you wonder about the location of Swell, please note that we VERY deliberately chose to build Swell where it is. As residents of Cabarete for the last 7 years, we knew how much our guests would love the short walk to enjoy great dining and a fun party if you are in the mood. No late night taxi or sketchy moto-taxi will be required to get you back to bed. We take care of the transportation to the surf, it's just a 5 minute ride and we bring you home again.

Each room is spacious, spotless and tastefully decorated with surfing themes. Beds, pillows, mattresses and sheets have been specially chosen so that your night-time comfort is guaranteed.

The communal area

The central heart of Swell surf camp, this is where our guests get together, play ping pong, shoot some pool, have a healthy breakfast or dinner and send Facebook updates to their mates at home about how much they are enjoying their surf holiday with us.
